Mice and Zombies: Not your usual combination...

For those of us that use Facebook there's a fair proportion who also play the games that are available through it. I have to admit I'm one of the worst for playing them, sending out application requests to all of my friends just so I can get some bonus in the game & share in my albeit temporary excitement for the game.

I say temporary because for me, as with alot of people, the majority of games that are on offer are generally overly repetitive and within a matter of days or weeks the experience becomes stale. But every now and then, as with all gaming platforms, there shines a diamond in the rough...

A tantalizing offering for a new Zombie Apocalypse!

So a new "walkthrough" video got released today from a press conference for one of my most overly anticipated games of the year, aside from Arkham City, that being of course the new Zombie game to possibly rule them all; Dead Island.

Good things DO come in small packages...

 Well it's been a little while since the last post. I can't say it's due to a lack of anything to say either; I've got several blogs I've intended to put up but time hasn't been my friend lately. In saying that, sometimes we don't have the time to dedicate a few hours to gaming and it's the games on-the-go that we're looking for. Something you can pick up for 5 minutes, play, then come back to continue at a later date. So without further a due let's get into today's blog: my latest iPhone addictions (these games may be available on other platforms)...

Politics can be interesting: Just add a dash of Vampirism!

 It's no surprise I have an undying love for the undead. That love isn't just limited to zombies, mind you, I adore the lot of them. Zombies, re-animated skeletons, ghosts and of course Vampires as well as the plethora of other creatures/people that come back from the dead. If I had to think back to which first got my attention it'd definitely be Vampires. I don't know if it was The Count from Sesame Street, Bela Lugosi movies (you know, REAL horror) or Monsters in my Pocket (#33) that got me started but somewhere down memory lane one or all of these inspired my love for blood-sucking stalkers of the night.

 I gotta say things couldn't be much better at the moment! Everything has just fell into place in the last 24 hours. Maybe it's Karma or something finally paying me some dues. Or all that hard work paying off at the end of the day. Whatever it is, I'm taking it and running with it! Things have just gone from strength to strength lately and I gotta say it's got me pretty much walking on air. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket while fate is smiling upon me?
